IMHO, the laws of nature predict the triumph of a multi-polar, open economy. This is because corruption breeds incompetence and absolute corruption breeds absolute incompetence, which eventually destroys itself.

Matthew has uncovered evidence of this in the historical record of US relations with and influence by the British Empire, with periodic upwellings of moral integrity such as Franklin, Hamilton, the abolitionists, anti-imperialists and FDR's anti-fascist beliefs. But the current evidence is overwhelming. Americans have been taught to point fingers at foreign governments, but there is no country in the world whose eco-political system is as corrupt as the US. From Nuland's machinations in Ukraine to Fauci's contrived scamdemic, from MIC to Big Pharma, the incompetence is now obvious to the citizens. The US can not defeat Russia or China militarily because its elites have de-industrialized and weakened the US itself. The criminals may indeed be capable of one more stolen election in 2024, but the states are now fighting back to nullify the DC rot. This can only accelerate as the fruits of corruption ripen. The only question is whether the defeat of the criminals can be accomplished relatively peacefully or the full scale violence of civil war or nuclear armaggedon will be required.

How on earth am I supposed to get any work done now?

If you've not read Dave McGowan's deep dive into the Lincoln Assassination, it's fascinating and I had never heard the story told in such a way.

Tl;Dr version: Three other assassinations were planned that evening, one of which was comically faked and even Gen Grant seems to have been in on it.

I think there was an increase in mortality in 2020, at least according to the CDC. This has yet to be explained. But I agree, the pandemic was largely bullshit and a political weapon aimed at Trump.

Great article and of course the gain of function research was largely funded by the guilty US, but I still can’t really find China innocent in the matter because they were also doing the research, and they shut down flights from Wuhan to the rest of China but kept international flights open. Do you have an explanation for that, Matt (serious question)?

That doesn’t mean, however, that I support war with them. But it seems like they intentionally spread it to the world (perhaps complicit with some in the US who seemed to want it to spread more also).
