Your series explained in a very enlightening but frightening way where we have been and how we got to our present precarious human condition or should we say "transhuman condition"; too much of our history was characterized by enormous failures when there should have been enlightened leadership, whether from science, philosophy, religion, including among some of our "best minds"; hubris played a large role, in addition to such false propositions that "man was the measure of all things." A more truthful belief would be that man has the potential to be the destroyer of all things and has certainly outdone himself in that regard by any standard, whether historical or present; as you adeptly pointed out there are always courageous and exceptional seekers of truth who choose life over death and a number are still among us to this day; unfortunately, for the future of mankind, the purveyors of death and their evil agenda are on the ascendency as they have become masters in the false pursuit of self-deification.
I really enjoyed this topic and your writing and comparisons in this field of science and philosophy. The contamination of religion and science is being cleansed by Nature as we speak, and it is the expanding consciousness of the human being that is driving this natural process.
