I read this, how would you incorporate these comments from Michael Hudson into your analysis. https://michael-hudson.com/2023/10/a-brics-bank-how-would-it-really-function/

You will probably think I have brainwashed by the Malthusian world view, but I find it hard to not think that we do live in a Finite World with a 'Carrying Capacity' for all life - including humans. I have read a lot of your articles and books, and I find them very interesting from a historical - and current - perspective. Your approaches to handling human population growth, and human, economic, & ecosystem health seem to focus on Nuclear Power (which currently has many supply issues - which are likely to become severe very quickly, if it is ramped up), large infrastructure investments (including moving large volumes of water), and the focus on trains for the movement of goods. The important thing you seem to miss (or you know more than I can currently find) is that we have reached peak cheap energy for transportation/mining etc. You seem to be acting on faith that 'we will find a way' if we all work together. I am not wanting to be critical. I am being honest about my interpretation of your views about how we can turn things around with cooperation, nuclear power, railways, water infrastructure etc. It seems Utopian to me - given that all of this still requires mining and transportation of fossil fuels (and transportation of all manufactured/grown goods) at a low enough cost for economies to survive, and high enough for producers to mine.
