Thank you for providing this film history insight. These will go on my winter evening watch-list.

Edit: Having looked at your longer list that you linked to, my inspiration is to have a weekly movie night with either other people online or a local meetup thing and work through that list.

What a terrific article! Thank you! I was aware of the Red Scare black lists, but was completely unaware that anyone had fought them using film. And I don't think I've seen many of the films you listed, I am absolutely sure I never saw the last one. I see I have some viewing to do, thank you again!

A key and urgently important part of the narrative thanks. Recognizing how very deep this goes is fundamental to being able to move forward.

Thank you for an informative and well-written post. One of my fondest childhood memories is seeing Spartacus with my dad when I was 12. One of the worst memories is sitting in class and hearing President Kennedy had been shot. I do believe there is a cabal trying to control the world by using wars, disease and famine and I will be watching Executive Action.

It's really sweet to hear how this little Hollywood group intended to show light on the Deep State; that this witch hunt would never happen again "but cha are Blanche, cha are" is happening now and not a peep. Why is that?

Great article. You raise an afterthought at the end which has been concerning me when you mention that the Eurasian alliance is against the Deep State etc. But it seems to me that all blocs are moving towards digital currencies, ID's and social credit. Schwab just spoke at the G20 with Gates there too. China is all over G20 and WHO and WTO and IMF etc. So am not convinced that the bifurcation of Wicked West versus RoW Eurasian Belt and Road Alliance is as straightforward as it seems. I wonder if you could consider writing an article about this that doesn't go too deep into ancient history so that the reader can firmly grok what is going on with all this without getting lost in too many explanatory labarynths.

imo all of the above is true; however, intel about Kirk Douglas is dripping out since he passed.

Natalie Wood's sister has accused him of raping Natalie when she was still a teenager, he invited her to his home on the pretence of hiring her for a film.

His home in the Holmby Hills has been revealed to be one of several big name stars (Warren Beatty, Jack Nicholson, James Caan) who had tunnels underneath their mansions connected to the Playboy Mansion and the Getty Museum in nearby Brentwood. The Getty has been a hub of child trafficking and more underneath the buildings, many of which are not open to the public.

I used to live in Westwood Village which is where UCLA is and I know these places well.

Kirk Douglas was a womanizing creep who used his power in Hollywood to have sexual relations with many women. His French wife Anne conveniently looked the other way.

Holmby Hills is just east of Westwood Village and west of Bel Air and Beverly Hills.

Many of the Hollywood communists were used by the CP and really wanted to see fair wages, improved quality of life, health and safety, etc. They were naive and well-meaning.

Most did not really understand communism or what Stalin was really up to in the USSR.

There probably were some who were actual communists and wanted the demise of the USA and the western world.

The Hollywood moguls were all SOBs and many like Mayer either did or tried to rape the actresses in their studios.

Olivia DeHavilland finally broke the 7 year contract inservitude imposed on most stars.

The Manchurian Candidate imo is the best film in this category (the original). I never get tired of watching it.

Re Spartacus: people conveniently overlook the disgusting and depraved bath scene with Laurence Olivier and Tony Curtis. Olivier was having an affair with Danny Kaye at the time.

It's interesting that the Hollywood moguls were quick to go after "communists" but not Hitler and the Nazis. Losing Germany and the countries in which the Nazis invaded re cinema distribution was not something they wanted. Thalberg was the one who finally spoke out. Not long after he died from brain cancer.

There have been a couple of women who have come forward and named names of the men who raped young girls and women, some were part of a trafficking network, some were actresses.

Bob Hope was a depraved POS. Dean Martin was not a nice person. Gene Kelly. Even Ronald Reagan. It goes on and on and rankly reading it made me sick.

It is important to watch these films again because of what we now know.

But bear in mind that the producers actors and writers were often despicable and sick people.

November 22, 1963 a day I will never forget, I was 4 1/2 and I've been waiting for justice ever since.

we just watched Seven Days In May and despite what I know about Kirk Douglas the movie is really brilliant and should be required watching, thank you Matt for making it available and no ads on YT as well!

So how were they Nazis? Nazis were socialists and so almost Communist, both are totalitarians.

The people they were going after were Communists who were trying to indoctrinate us with Communist propaganda and since then it has gone on to destroy the Christian basis for our moral strength as a nation.

Many of them used our constitutional amendment to not answer questions and continue to destroy the USA that gave them that right. Hypocrisy.

The CIA and Hollyweird have been working to destroy the moral character of the US for many years and now we see the results with our first Sodomite president and his Tranny husband and now we have an actor playing Biden (RIP) who is working for the CCP to destroy our elections, security, economy and borders.

I wish they had been shipped back to Russia or China where they would be under a system of government that they love so much. Then the US would still be great.
