Thanks Matthew. Both intriguing and evocative.

I'm not sure why you at one point slip in the word "reincarnation" when the New Testament preference is "resurrection," and likely Rembrandt's understanding too. Unless I am to be persuaded otherwise.

Allow me to share, for any interested readers, my own Easter Sunday substack. Blessings

Joy To The World - Jesus Christ is Risen!

Resurrection reminiscences

31 March 2024

On this Easter Sunday, I offer a selection of resurrection reminiscences, drawing on selected Scriptures, spiritual reflections, songs, and poems.

Right now, wherever you may be, may you experience the Joy of Jesus Christ’s resurrection, and may you be raised up to more than you can be!

Thank you for this message of Hope, sorely needed in these troubled times. Something very beautiful to contemplate and take to heart.

There is so much confusion about our World now!

Do we believe God and Jesus never existed, but was made up by Alien from another Planet?

Do we chose to discount God and Jesus to adhere to what is a beautiful life?

Is not God and jesus always for Good?

To chose this life now in the manner it is going, I cannot see me doing!

God and Jesus despite my age have not been with me as most have!

How I long for this deep connection others have. There is an emptiness within me!

Yet, despite that I feel deep for the knowledge I do have of God and Jesus!

I cry thinking all Jesus endured to bring us all salvation!

I cry thinking what God has endured to allow his Son endure so much physical pain as well as mental pain!

You have a very confused person here

Yet i share all I can with others despite the censorship.

If it cannot help me I Pray it helps others.

Thank You Very Much

Sincerely Diane Iacovelli
