The last change 301 years ago was the American Revolutionary War that ushered (or re-ushered) in republicanism, which replaced monarchies. These cycles last 309 years and are fractile. There are several other cycles of different lengths that are too topping in 2032. This makes that date more potent and vital.
When viewed in this context, we can understand why things today are so crazy. We are living in the end game for one system and transitioning into another. The powers that are now ruling are losing their grip and are becoming more authoritarian to save their positions. What we should be occupied with is what's next.
I don't pay too much respect to the cycle-driven theory of systems in general. I go more for causal principles of intention, design, and folly/corruption which then cause material effects that find systems breaking from or adhering to cycles of collapse/creative growth. I think solutions for these pressures they’re using as a weapon of food production, farming, agriculture, and even bee keeping, etc., is a great means of resistance and support for the better direction you are presenting that frees us from the parasitic class.
