There is no mention in this article that Washington certainly knew about the Japanese plan to attack Pearl Harbour, although FDR may not have known. Trump thinks the USA won both wars. There were no winners of WWI and the Red Army won WWII. I also believe that Britain wanted WWII to destroy Germany and it used Chamberlain and Edward to promote appeasement and make Hitler think he could get away with more and more and it worked. Britain also promised to defend Poland but did nothing about it. Britain declared war on Germany when they invaded Poland but did not declare war on the USSR when they invaded because Britain needed them as allies. The war was supposed to be to prevent the Nazis taking over Europe but ended with the communists taking over. History is one lie after another.
While I appreciate the thrust of this article, I have to question the statement that Putin and Xi are anti-imperialists. Putin has taken Crimea and is trying to take parts of Ukraine (I realize there are extenuating circumstances) and Xi is taking as much of the South China sea as he can seize and building new islands for military bases.
