However, I still have reservations about your tendency to infer that the "green doctrine' is somehow part of an oligarchical plot to impose "Malthusian constraint". Even though we can be suspicious of the motives behind imposing such restraints, this shouldn't mean they're not warranted. I'm much more concerned about the ramifications of free trade as a screen to enrich the Empire".
It’s hard to consider that the green movement has been weoponised to that extent. It would be terrible when considering how many very decent people are unknowingly co-opted. But I do think it IS the case.
