The root of our present difficulties and of all similar ones throughout history is found in the fundamental difference in philosophy between the people of God who believe in an ‘Otherworldly’ Kingdom of God and the people of this world, who are continually trying to build an Empire, (whether for ‘God’ or simply for themselves, or even for ‘Mankind’, in THIS world.
Now, certainly, many of the Jewish people throughout history have been guilty of this and been involved in conspiracy after conspiracy in order to try to bring this about, but they are far from being the only ones, or even the primary ‘movers and shakers’.
Of all the many individuals and groups of people who have tried and are trying presently to build a Kingdom of Man on earth, it can always be tracked back to the fallen angels who, out of envy, are trying to undo, if at all possible, the work of God.
Thus, the ongoing need on our part for repentance, ceaseless prayer and unseen warfare, to keep ourselves from participating in their nefarious schemes.
